“It’s fantastic that Middlesbrough Council are able to support us in this way. Generating awareness of sexual violence and local support services is vital in helping people to deal with its’ impact.

Nicky Harkin, CEO of Arch North East

Some of our other campaigning activities for the week included:

⭐ The launch of our brand new Sexual Violence Recovery Toolkit group project.

⭐Hosting awareness stalls / sexual violence training at various locations including James Cook Hospital, Middlesbrough College, Redcar College, Durham County Hall, Mima, Pallister Park, and more!

⭐Staff and clients featuring on BBC Tees and in other local press.

⭐ Received a visit from Cleveland Police and Crime Commissioner, Barry Coppinger, who kindly donated some ‘trauma teddies’ to support our theraputic support with children.

We would love to say a big THANK YOU to our fabulous volunteers, staff, other agencies and everybody else who has supported Arch and worked alongside us this week, to help highlight the amazing support that is available across the region, and spread the word that #ItsNotOk.
