About Us:  We are a registered charity based in Teesside offering free and confidential counselling and ISVA support to people who have been affected by rape or sexual abuse, no matter how long ago the experience may have been. The Final Leg of Frank and Buddy’s 500 Mile Challenge – 7th April 2018

On Saturday 7th April, our fundraiser Frank completed his (and Buddy the dog’s) 500 mile challenge for ARCH.  Graciously hosted by Sainsbury’s on Acklam Road, Middlesbrough, Frank got on his bike to complete the last few miles with a little help from other members of TeamARCH.  We also had a tombola and raffle on the day to raise funds and awareness of the amazing work we do.  Well done Frank and Buddy, your contribution over the last year has been fantastic.   Stay tuned for a final blog post from our dynamic duo!


SVA Week – 5th – 11th February 2018

In honour of Sexual Violence Awareness week, Middlesbrough Council turned the water in the Centre Square fountains green to highlight the amazing work of ARCH.  Sexual Violence awareness week is held annually with the aim to raise awareness of sexual violence in hopes to open up a conversation about sexual violence, to dispel myths and to increase support for surviors.

Out Of The Shadows Music Night – 24th November 2017

On Friday 24th November , we hosted our “Out Of The Shadows” music night at The Hub at Teesside Uni’s student union.  Some amazing bands performed on the night including Talk Like Tigers, Mouses, Head of Light Entertainment and The Jar Family.  A great night was had by all and we managed to raise funds and awareness for ARCH.  A HUGE thank you to our sponsors, fundraisers and everyone who came along to the event.


ISVA award – 28th September 2017

Huge congratulations are in order for our fantastic ISVA Barbara Pawson who has been awarded for her outstanding ISVA working with Adult survivors at the Lime Culture Knowledge and network event in Manchester yesterday. Well done to Barbara and to the whole ISVA team who do such an exceptional job for our clients.


Sainsbury’s Charity of the Year – 10th July 2017

Sainsbury’s charity competition was announced, results are in and Acklam Road’s local chosen charity is…. ARCH NORTH EAST. We would like to thank everyone that has kindly voted for us, and look forward to working with Sainsbury’s!


1st – 7th June 2017 National Volunteer Week 

Arch recognised Volunteers had provided our services with over 3,000 hours in the last year. In appreciation, we took the opportunity to showcase the fabulous people who volunteer at Arch by holding a garden party on Tuesday 6th June 2017 – sponsored by Watson and Woodhouse
